Dear Crazy, thanks for your post.
No harm in asking your doubts.
What you can do is, add little warm water and extract thick tamarind juice.
just enough for the rice, or to your taste.
Mix it with the rice using a spoon, or your fingers.
Keep it in the fridge over night.
What I did was mixed the tamarind juice and just kept it for 30 minutes.
Then I seasoned the rice, taste wonderful just like puli saatham.
Try it out, very simple. Come often with your kelvigal.
