Location&Direction:This Divya Kshetram is located closer to Thiruchi.it's 8 kms from pudhalur railway station and 4 miles from kallanai.

Legend says that this temple is older than srirangam temple ,hence the name Koviladi (adi given to srirangam).it's one of the 5 arangam temples(appala rangam).Nammazhawar got motcham after he sang about this perumal in this temple.There is also a legend associated with this temple where Lord narayana came as a old brahmin in disgiuse to eat Appam from king Upamanyu.
