I became a fan of rajini after watching baasha which was my first tamil film and was amazed by his style and vicaciousness then. But further on i realised he had many different varities to his acting rather than just style and comedy. Being a kamal fan also i liked all the movies he does...he is always different and is the trendsetter for the whole indian film industry. If kamal is a master at performing a variety of character roles rajini is a master at performing a variety of emotions in mass roles. sentiment, happiness, sarcasm you name it you got it. In fact there is only a slight difference in both Kamal's and rajini's acting..seeing that they consider sivaji as their guru. |

Once we(Mom, Me, Brother and friend of mom) went to Tiruthani for Murugan dharisanam(I would be around 10 i think). After Dharsan when we came down in a theatre near Bus stand movie Kodi Parakuthu was shown. I was not willing to come home without watching the movie. My mom did not had any chance but to go for the movie. After watching when we came home my father was in home already. My father was unhappy at my mom. My father used to be very strict. The next day i got a special treatment from my mom. My brother and mom used to say from that day only i became fan of Kamal. |

I was first an Ajith fan..... It was April 20th 2000 when I started watching tamil movies with great interest! My dad left for the US for a better life and we were to join him the next year once he got settled in the US. since my dad was strict at that time (not now as i've grown up!), he used to not allow me watch much movies. even if we watched, we would watch only hindi films. on april 20th 2000, he left by morning flight, and suddenly my cousing brother wanted to take me and my family for a tamil movie "Mugavari" just to help us get out of our sad mood (since we were attached to our dad).
after watching mugavari, i was very much attracted to the movie. i used to fight with my friends a lot for the movie. it was my favorite movie then. i fell in love with jothika after seeing the movie and ajith also impressed me a lot in that film. at that time, i had a friend (he is still my friend!) who was a vijay fan and i was an ajith fan. so the customary battles were there. i didnt hate vijay, but wasnt sure how he was because hadnt watched any of his films before! It all turned upside down after watching Kushi! IT was our school (Sri Krishnaswamy MHSS, KK Nagar Chennai)'s sports day at the Rajarathinam stadium (the stadium where surya and jo meet in kaake kaake, where jo says "M Sc Maths, IAT Madras"). we had to remain the whole day at the stadium till the sports day function was over. but we planned to bunk the function after completing our march past. so after march past, we jumped over the wall stealthily and took a bus to Udayam theatre complex. Since my friends had watched Kushi and wanted to watch Pennin Manathai Thottu (Prabudeva movie), I went alone to watch Kushi that day. I wanted to watch it solely becoz of Jothika and nothing else. But that day transformed me into a die hard Vijay fan! I just loved his mannerisms in the film, his humor filled dialogues, his chemistry with Jo throughout the movie, his expressions in the second half, etc. That movie made me a fanatic Vijay fan! Thats how I became a die hard Vijay fan! After that, I watched lot of his films in the theatre till I left for the US. If I liked a film of his, I would watch it 4-5 times in the theatre itself. Such was my fanaticism for Vijay! It still exists, but I cant watch many movies in theatre here because they screen only once here and that too, very rare movies! |

Cinema is a good medium to entertain people at the same time audience can learn things from the characters who casting. Some people takes those Hero’ s as their role model , but some enjoy the movie it self. I was great fan of Rajani right from my childhood. I always try to watch first show in Srilanka also in Toronto , Canada. I enjoy watching his movies on screen, But at the same time I watch kamal movies for his acting. I red lot of news about rajani for his hard working, and kamal good acting skills.
The only actor that I admire for his hard work, commitments and his acting skills none other than our Ultimate Star Ajith. I watched his Amaravathi in Toronto and it was the first Tamil movie in Canada. I start liking his acting from Vaali. What a wonderful acting. I enjoyed watching every single minute of the movie. Amarkalam turned me as a die hard fan of our thala. In Canada movie tickets are sold for $10, but as for my knowledge it was a first movie that tickets were sold at $15. We were about 35-40 students drove 4hrs from another city to Toronto to watch the movie on the first day. I had a good time watching that movie with my school mates and friends. From then he became a role model for me like other millions fans out there. Since then I watch his movies on the first day first show. My sisters like his acting and obviously his looks. I bought all the DVD’s of his movies and keeping them on track. Only thing I missing is Amaravathi, but I will get it eventually. Back to Ajith, He has no GODFATHER in the industry. There are few other actors also there with out any godfathers in the industry. Did they all make it as Ajith? None of them made it through, Barath is exception, since he has time to prove. There is a proverb “ Every time you lose , it’s a step for Victory”. I found it on Ajith career. He is the well known person in the industry for his hard working. Most of the news papers written off him. Now who is on the way for competing for superstardom. Last but not least I want say about our friends who is fan of Ajith. I don’t think millions of fans out there like ajith because of nothing. They Admire him on screen and off Screen. They will do anything for Ajith. Ajith also believe his fans. And I am one of them. |
