CNN-IBN MOST POPULAR TAMILIAN POLL IS A JOKE !

The choices for this poll are,

M.S.Subbulakshmi

A.P.J.Abdul Kalam

Rajinikanth

Viswanathan Anand

Periyar

Ilayaraja

Simply put,this poll is a disgrace..I mean what kinda oddball would select Periyar when there was a more illustrious leader like Kamaraj..Kamaraj was nicknamed the Kingmaker and he turned down the Indian PM post even when it was offered on a platter..He lived and died like a saint

Rajini..no offence,but he is not even a Tamilian in the first place..Even if IBN wanted to give such a case an exception,that exception should have gone to MGR,who was a much much bigger star in his day and is still the most popular CM to date..Not to mention the Bharat Ratna...

Where is Sivaji Ganesan He was the first tamil actor whose talent was recognised outside of India..
CNN simply messed up this poll for political reasons..

  Joe..With all due respect..I know quite a bit about Periyar..I dont need to go and ask Kamal for this Periyar was a great leader,a revolutionary,but when you rank the best,it becomes grave error when you overlook someone who has a lot more qualifications..
