Kacheri Aarambam Preview
Kacheri Aarambam - The game starts
IndiaGlitz [Tuesday, November 17, 2009]
For Jeeva, ‘Thenavattu’ has perhaps showed the commercial route after trying hands in off-beat films like ‘Ram’ and ‘Kattradhu Thamizh’. Next from the actor’s den is ‘Kacheri Aarambam’, directed by a newcomer Thiraivannan.
Produced by R B Choudary for Super Good Films, the movie features Poonam Bajwa opposite Jeeva again. The two had acted together in ‘Thenavattu’ before. “I had not recommended Poonam for the role. She was the director’s choice,” says Jeeva. Thiraivannan had worked with Boopathy Pandian, Seeman and Selvabharathy before. Says the director, “it is a typical commercial entertainer. It is hilarious and there are enough action sequences too”.
On choosing Jeeva, Thiraivannan says, 'he is one of the young brigade of actors, who proved that he can excel in any kind of role. A complex character in ‘Kattradhu Thamizh’ was handled well by him, while in ‘Thenavattu’, he did with ease the role of a happy-go-lucky youngster.”
“Jeeva and Poonam Bajwa shared wonderful onscreen chemistry in ‘Thenavattu’. I felt there was nothing wrong in repeating the winning combination,” says Thiraivannan, justifying Jeeva’s statement.
Heaping laurels on producer Choudary, the director says, “he is encouraging and has the knack of tapping the right talent. He has introduced many film-makers to the industry and many of them have gone on to become legends. I am happy and privileged to associate myself with Super Good Films”.
Imman is scoring the music. “It is a commercial entertainer and I was inspired to come up with racy tunes once I heard the script,” says the music composer. Jeeva, on his part, expresses confidence that ‘Kacheri Aarambam’ will go on to become a hit.”

D Imman is almost a synonym with racy scores. The young music composer has come out with half-a-dozen songs in ‘Kacheri Aarambam’, which are racy as well as pacy, apt to the movie’s title.
And what more? They are rendered by a group of young and talented singers, thereby giving that much-needed energy to the Jeeva starrer.
Produced by Super Good Films, the movie which has Poonam Bajwa opposite Jeeva, is directed by debutant Thiraivannan. One of the highlight of the film sure seems to be its racy musical score.
Check out how the songs are:
1. Azhagu Azhagu - Listen here
Singer: Bela Shende
A short but a splendid song. Bela Shende is cool to listen to. Imman makes a perfect beginning to the album. Though the music is lovely to listen to, the lyrics seems to be a let down.
2. Kacheri Kacheri - Listen here
Singer: Madhushree, Mukesh
It’s a typical Imman material. It has catchy rhythms, splendid sound and racy music. The pace at which the song begins is pleasant to hear to. Mukesh's vocal is nice while Madhushree's energy deserves a special mention.
3. Kadavule - Listen here
Singer: Dr Palash Sen
There are two versions of the song appearing in the album. Dr Palaash Sen's debut song is seemingly inspired by a Classical ragam. But what makes it interesting it is that it begins and proceeds all through in the same pace. There is a striking orchestral similarities with ‘Kannaalane..’ from the movie ‘Bombay’.
4. Kadavule (A Rock Star) - Listen here
Singer: D Imman, Roe Vincent, Varun
Another interesting song to listen to. Imman has opted for some new sounds here. Soft number but racy rhythms. Lyrics too sounds good.
5. Vithai Vithai - Listen here
Singer: Shaan
Hey check out who has crooned the song. Its Shaan. A peppy number with energetic beats, the song is good to listen to. A typical mass masala number, it has racy instrumentation by Imman.
6. Vaada Vaada - Listen here
Singer: Anitha, Karthikeyan, Watta Bottles
This is what Imman is known for. A racy number with streaks of Western and Classical influence. The roaring beginning with catchy interludes and cool rhythms are the hallmark of this song. Imman scores straight away. One for the masses, it is all set to top audio charts.
On the whole, 'Kacheri Aarambam' album by Imman is a groovy one sure to delight music-lovers. Imman has served his best to the ‘target audience’.

I too enjoyed TA very much and started watching Danush films after that.
But hope that KA is not a rehash of TA
Watched E again last wknd. Jeeva is wasting his talents doing nonsense films instead of concentrating on exposing his talents.
