I gave a miss for the movie when it released. Later i saw the movie in cable TV. It was too good. Surya, Nandha and the other guy(comedian) did a good job. The subtle comedy worked well for me.

Mounam pEsiyadhEy - wr surya impressed me ( other one is pithamagan ) , more than Surya Ameer the director impressed me a lot by his style of narration
this movie can classified as Classic
telungu style'la sollanum'naa, idhu dhaandaa Classic

Top two best films of 2002 are Ramana and MounampEsiyadhE ( twe different genre - not even comparable ) but both are best movies of 2002 . Then comes Run , Villain , Gemnin etc were commercially best movies .
I have seen MP ennumber of times and I never got bored with MP like Anbesivam, PT ,Thillumullu, Vaali ,padayappa etc
