* Who will forget THALA POLA VARUMA Intro song and the subsequent scenes.
IT was a perfect portrayal of GETHU.

* Thala's introduction scene in Vaali.. wow... The phone will be still ringing and he will be reading the newspaper. This will throw a few strange things in our imagination. Ultimately, coming to the point and all.. perfect narration from SJS side too.

Aandavar films are class films, intellectual films, his fans are decent "hi-fi" types - "Sutha Poi". All these are bull refuse...

Thalaivar-oda first half-la MGR, second half-la Sivaji.
Aandavar has already done [successfully] what others are trying to do or still doing now. Nobody can do what Aandavar has done and will keep doing!

Build-up scenes:
1) Thevar Magan is the 'baap' of all build-up scenes. The opening in Thuvalur railway station with Aandavar dancing, the pure raw BGM of IR......
In and around Madurai, entire villages thronged to the theatres in bullock-carts[!] for this flick...
2) Virumaandi
"Viruviru maandi virumaandi..........."
3) Thalabadhi - IMO the best intro among Rajini movies [IR again]...

Just like how you pointed out VIRU VIRUMAANDI VIRUMAANDI thing in Sandiyar (oh.sorry. VIRUMAANDI), I liked a few intro scenes in his songs.. esp VRMBBS..

A young man bravely taking the shooting water from the fire service people. It was a bit different from the usual ones.

I think that apart from that walking scene, I would say it is the dialogue which ruled.

"Ahhlex Pandian" The way he says.. and the way he swings his cane, correcting his tie, rolling that world map object.. Good one indeed.. Nice choice

That was a hilarious intro. I couldn't control laughing man. Probably Ajith missed in that was a Shampoo.. as he constantly scratches his head..

Didn't Singam Puli or Raam Sathya as he was called that time think about this?

he tried some off the air fighting in SULLAN and his intro in SULLAN was

Guys, am not against Ajith or for Dhanush. Just that Dhanush got better chances to act in movies(Not sullant of course, i laughed watching it just as I did for RED).

Ajith will become a very good actor after Naan Kadavul. Just that all his directors were very very average guys except a few who couldn't exploit his acting skills.

Ajith did all those roles.. But we loved it. Now he is back to doing off-beat roles. with the likes of GODFATHER, NAAN KADAVUL etc coming along the way, nothing can stop him
