The latest high priced director

Boopathy Pandian who began his Kollywood innings with Devadaiyai Kanden went on to prove his caliber with Thiruvilayadal Aaramabam. The film was well received by everyone and since than humor has turned out to be Boopathy’s statement.

His third flick Malaikottai with Vishal is also said to be a comedy entertainer and his next venture will be Raja Vesham with Cheeyan Vikram where he will be accompanied by Nayantara and the film to be produced by Raja Kaliamman pictures.

Now Kollywood is abuzz with talks that Boopathy has been offered a jaw dropping one crore and ten lakhs for Raja Vesham. With such a big amount as salary, the director has certainly joined the list of crème de la crème of film makers in Kollywood. There have also been whispers that Boopathy had narrated a story to Simbu which has been liked by him. As Simbu is currently busy with Kaalai and Kettavan, Boopathy may either polish his Raja Vesham script or may work on the story that was narrated to Simbu.
