from the list of movies above, i have only seen Kanda Naal Muthal...very nice movie...

yah but she has worked on number of movies as assistent director. all the female directors are well supported by the technicians and music directors.

I think suhasini should have taken some other story. I have never faced/seen/heard abt such type of jaadhi problm. so no serious impact.

B.R.Vijayalakshmi - beautiful songs by IR.
IR and SPB voice for the song "Vazhi vidu vazhi vidu en devi varugiraal" is excelelnt.Thks mam for giving such a situation . If SPB and the heroine replaced by some other ppl, this movie would have been an averags hit.

Jayachithra - Beautiful songs by IR. Rahman and Raghuvaran would have supported a lot but she spoiled it by playing the lead role.

when male community serve also as charm heros, apart from intellectual part, why the female counterparts are lagging so behind to provide their creative content ??

i dont see an eco-balance in that, not only in movies.

Regarding Priya.V , she was assistant of Manirathnam and she has written story for mitr-my friend directed by Revathi..... and she did anbulla sahothari for suntv produced by manirathnam.......

I liked INDRA her direction was nice indeed very good song in that movie

I for one would like to see more women directing good projects.I could be biased but feel movies where the director is female have less violence and vulgarity.

The title could have been "Female Technicians in Tamil cinema".
If we are going to discuss only abt directors then it is very much limited.
It is better to discuss abt the Female Cine Personalities other than heroine and playback singer as these two are common.

Great idea Thiru..but I dont know any female technicians.I have heard that there are female camera persons but havent heard them discussed.There are lady dance masters though.Dance Master Kala is a classic example just as Saroj master in Hindi cinema is.

Producers eduthukkuta..Pushpa Kandhasamy is quite well known.Shes KB's daughter and usually produces all kavithalaya's movies.Dont know how involved she was in the making of the movies though.

As far as the Producers are concerned you can see the names of Females quite often, though many of them are not really involved in that.

Actually the female names are used here for having lesser impact on Taxes.
