Noted cameraman turned director, Jeeva (43) died of a massive heart attack in Russia where he was shooting for his latest film Dhaam Dhoom.
Jeeva, a noted cameraman had turned director with 12 B and later did films like Ullam Ketkume and the recent Unnale Unnale, which is one of the hits of 2007. Jeeva was currently busy with the final schedule of his latest film Dhaam Dhoom, when the inevitable happened.
Jeeva has cranked the camera for about 40 films and done some noted films like Indian with Shankar and done a few Hindi films with Priyadarshan. He has also done umpteen ad films and has introduced actors like Shaam, Arya, Asin, Pooja, Vinay, Tanisha (in Tamil) and now he was introducing Kangana Ranaut with Dhaam Dhoom.
Says Maddy who called up to confirm the news: “It’s shocking that we lost a great talent like Jeeva. I have no words and is still in a state of shock”. Said Asin: “I can’t believe this news. He is one of the nicest human beings that I have come across”.
After the formalities are over, the body will be brought back to Chennai in a day or two. Jeeva is survived by his wife Aneez, who is a noted dress designer. He also has a young daughter.

Thanks siva !
One more question
n its ongoing attempt to constantly outdo itself, the World Wrestling Entertainment recently staged the "death" of its chairman in an apparent limo explosion.
what does this mean ? Did the chairman die ? who ? and adhu eppo

Oh, that one... They did a death angle with the chairman (Mcmahon) few weeks back, that was planned and he is doing fine actually.. They done it to incerase the PPV buys and TV Ratings..
Since theres a 'legit' death happened shortly, i assume they will drop this angle sooner than later.. i dun think i will watch the wwe shows for some time now.. My fav star is gone FOREVER...

i dunno about jeeva's case but in india, very less ppl ppl does regular medical checkups. in US ppl does general checkup once in every year so theycatch teh disease in early stage, so curing is easier....

RIP Jeeva-sir. You've given us memorable movies from 12B to UU. I really liked the combo and relationship that you and MD Harris Jeyaraj shared.
Tis really is a big-blow to tamil cinema. First Vikram Dharma now it's Jeeva.
I offer my condolences to his family. But the question now is, what about the status of Dhaam Dhoom?
