After watching Aathi, im coming to this topic, where on the hell is the censor board..
Movies i think censor board was sleeping

Boys
Anniyan
Tirupachi
Sachein

At least you guys are lucky. Over here on terrestrial tv, even WWE wrestling is bloody censored. What's the point of watching a wrestling match if they want to censor the fighting

What can the Censor do? If they want to do a perfect job, then for the movies like Rasigan, Sukran, Sivakasi only titles can be shown.

When they censor some lines in a song for its vulgarity by putting off the lyrics, it kindles more interest on tat particular song and the line.Even it is played with the song it wont affect a lot! But Kids when they listen to the song they tend to ask the missed line in that lyrics.Just think what parents will answer for that query!

I heard Censor Board is dominated by DMK MP benamis. That's why they are so subjective.

In Boys, most of the frontal scenes were uncut.

Thirumaran, there are some controversial issues that are being inserted into films now, and it depends on the audience (not children of course) how they want to take it...Seeing films here, Hollywood, I personally am used to these kinda of unnecessary things...but like Beckham said, making a big deal about them will only evoke more interest/rebellion

I did not point only to vulgar scenes. I took into consideration of the quality of the dialogues and other things.

By the way for Sikasi even title credits cannot be shown fully. As for the name of the credit for the director, Perarasu gives a big nonsense dialogue which can be censored too.

Ya. I have also seen people censoring WWE fights in Star Sports.. But here in Ten Sports they are not censoring the fights..

Sometimes, they censor vulgar words / scenes only..

But Tamil censor board should be realistic in its approach..

Eyes can't be taken away if someone sees a vulgar scene. Then that person won't have any eligibilty to sit in the ensor board. They should think what will happen to their children if they watch these movies in their latter part of life..

Firstly I doubt if AP has a censor board!
True they also hav a lot of violence......aside, we all know tat many telugu movies r nothing but dubbed tamil ones too!
