guys how do u rate the music of anniyan?i feel it is very ordinary.i dont know what made shankar to break up with arrehman.their partnership was defenitely overwhelming.now that the music is very ordinary,let us see how it goes up with the movie.

I'm not much of a classical music lover. But definitely, the two hip-hop songs are awesome....I think Shankar wanted two classical, 2 western and 1 kuthu song. It's a mish-mash on the whole. But I think it'll merge well with the movie...Great work overall from HJ !!

Anniyan Music.. yes i liked all the songs.. out of the peppy numbers kannum kannum is good and out of the classical numbers iyengaru song is good.. and that andangakka song is good as well.. esp shreya's voice.. I m an avid fan of her melodies and when i saw her name on that song i was astonished.... she indeed has sung pretty well.. So my verdict is *good*

The best song was Kumari in my opinion...

I never though Shankar Mahadevan could sings like that mainly because he is usually used for intro gana songs like "Machan Peru..." THe last time I heard Shankar's voice in perfect classical form was in the song "Yenna Solla Pogirai" Hats off to him for delivering his best! The other songs are worth a listen, but I'm sure that the audio will be a rage after the movie's release...especially with Shankar's lavish methods of taking songs.

most of the harris songs though sounds good r copies of arr only nad the 'ayengaru veetu' song very much resembles the 'chennai senthamizhl song from m.kumaran son of mahalakshmi.but heard the movie was good.vikram rocks again [/b]

ooo i loved anniyan songs! i listen to them everyday..and that includes 2day!

Kumari -----soo funny...nice tune...suits the character..nice voices...pitch of them song is awesome and once u start listening to it it takes u till the end without boring u.

REMO- ok well this song jus rockz! the ole ole ole bit is awesome....the dancing for this song is brill and u can almost fit any dance routines into this song! so its fun to dance with . the graphics are fab! such a on going beat u wont stop listening to it...

Kannum kannum nokia - BEST SONG IN THE ALBUM! love the costumes..not very kollwoodish but more into hollywood kinda song. the costumes are just fab and the background is amazing! v different types of places...and sadha looked awesome in theat short green/turquoise dress and her purple highlights! and when she walks up to remo and he's leaning on the car...the car is fab! it looks soo good with exellent bkgrounds! very danny song and luv to sing it! but more like dance to it! FAB FAB FAB

Iyangaru veetu- such a sweet song...the costumes once again are fab..well for me they look so indiany and show what they are intending to show, the tune is awesome! THE ONLY SONG MY DAD LIKES IN THE NEW SET OF SONGS! so easy and nyc to sing to..cnat exactly dance to it cos i aint learn classical dance but still its fab......
but one thing at the begining when the camera goes into the place where vikram n lot are these two girls are playing the veena opposite to each other but sitting side by side and on the the girls are playing the veena on wrong side..cos the veen goes from left to right...and one girl is playing it right to left....bad bad bad
but i guess the reason is cos they want it to look kinda symetrical and neat.

Adang kaa kaa- ooohheee i lyk this song...funny song....heheh....but its the worst out of the album but its a fabulous song!
