  Also I avoided the "current" generation, since it will cause "war of the worlds" here. Since you mentioned anyways, let me put a closure from my end
  
  Vikram is definitely a great actor
  Surya - though I personally like him, has to proove a lot. He has got chance to "act" only in two movies so far - Perazagan- he had dilip's hangover (malayalam actor who acted in original malayalam version) and Gajini - he had pithamagan's vikram hangover. I liked Suyra in pithamagan than any other movie.
  
  Ajith and Vijay didnt proove anything in their active skills, inspite of being in the field for over a decade. Again, I cant blame them. A movie by Bala/Balumahendra/Selvaragavan will give them some opportunity. Lets see how they perform before I

  I personally liked Sivaji, KH and classic Rajni movies and for me to accept Vijay and Ajith is next to impossible.

  I didnt start it. you know me very well. I just mentioned that Ajith didnt get a chance to work with good directors. Knowing Ajith personally, I can tell you, he can do much more than what he has been doing. Thats why I repeatu that he has to work with Bala/Selvaragavan/Balumahendra/Kamal. Ajith is full of humour and he didnt show even 1% of that in the movies (while Vijay from what I hear is very dull guy but end up giving comedy hits).
  
  BTW I think Sivaji films should trademark/patent the word "repeatU".

The fact is rajni started acting in mass movie after he had mass fans.   it's not like that. rajini acted in those movies at the start of his career.at first one goal in his mind was to stay in this industry.so he chose those roles..
  and he may have confused what path he had to choose.
  
  and everybody wants to be superstar..because to stay in the industry. everybody knows what 'd happen if you continue to act in only non action movies.
  non action means love and crying...it's hard to act in these roles forever.
  
  if you see kamal, he is trying various roles... it's really hard to act like that. even some movies are big flops.
  
  i don't think anybody'd lose their identity.
  when time goes you have to adjust to it..
  main thing is you have to stay in the industry..that's what everybody is doing.

  I watched 1 Hr Photo yesterday and what a concept and performance by Robin Williams. When are we going to see a movie like House of fog and sand, a movie like Hanniball, a movie like Life is beautiful, a movie like as good as it gets. Probably never because after KH, no one in the current industry has the courage to make good movies, like Anbe sivam, Guna, Mahanadhi.

  there is nothing wrong with masala movies ofcourse!....the thing is there is always something called standard and class in every field.Cine field is a widely known field.if we do make only masala movies like kannada film industry its shame on us.its kamal haasan who got 3 national award ,nominated india more for oscar times than any other indian,awarded as best asian actor twice and directed a movie which won best asian film award!made our tamil films reach world class!

  OK I agree thats the best theme for a tamil film.A manmadhan who treats gals like use and throw pens,Gets married,tries to reform himself,Catches the suspicion of his wife for the works he dint do;meanwhile due to some pranks of his friends he gets mixed up with a prostitute and they feel that theyve convicted for a murder and they are on the run.Double meaning and triple meaning dialogues all around,glamourous songs and kisses didtributed like chocolates.
