One thing should be clear to Ajith, He is not going to get away mouthing mindless, inane punch dialogues in the name of masala movies. it may work for Vijay, but it sure doesn't suit him. He isn't an actor who can run away with a movie which has nothing but masala stuff. He needs to give class + mass movies. These are the movies that have made him a real success story. Selva, don't get too scared about too much of hype. I think the hype here is to see the movie and I don't think the expectations are more from Billa as it is a remake movie. This is just my opinion. In the mean time, I was observing the entire media in and around. Our often victims, sify and behindwoods' reporters were sitting beside me! I laughed at within myself telling how many times they would have had vaitherichal from different fans! Then I happened to hear two senior reporters speaking behind me. One reporter was saying "Ajith kku indha padam periya hit aaganum pa.. Nalla actor avaru..". The other one sitting replied "Aama aama kandipa. Nalla actor nnradha vida nalla manushan". Then the first one replied "Aama. Avaru screen la eppidi yo narelayum appidi daan. Mike munnadi enna pesuvaaro, adhe ye daan behind the scenes um hmmm". They changed their conversations then. After that I was waiting without patience for the Billa team to arrive. Suddenly there was a paraparappu... The hall got silent and camera crew got crowded at the entrance of the hall on which the function is held! Patha namma Thala!!!!!!!! Usual blazers la he was!!! He got seated and big crowd of photographers kept on flashing! Asarave illiya.. Photo va eduthu thallnanga!!! Producer got up to the diars and asked the photographers to be seated. None listened him and everyone continued to keep flashing photos and videos!! Vera vazhi illama the producer continued to speak(lolz!) with all the photographers surrounding Thala! Other celebrities who came were Vishnuvardhan, Yuvan, Anu Vardhan, Prabhu, Rahman all of whom belong to Billa. Producer put usual mokkai of saying why this remake, superstar bla bla!! Then Yuvan, Vishnu, Prabhu, Rahman spoke a few words on their parts in general sense. Then Thala came. He said "Indha moonu naala anagama ellamthayum pesintannu nenakirane. Still if there are any more questions, they are welcome." No questions were raised as all were already answered! Then Billa trailer was aired! I kept watching Thala's reaction for the trailer as I have watched the trailer n number of times already! Thala looked normal! Then to the surprise, a journalist asked once more for the trailer! He shouted "Innoru vaati trailer a podunga pa!" It was aired again! Then a still taken at Rajini's house was displayed where Rajini, Yuvan, Vishnu, Ajith and producer are standing with Billa audio big cover. Then the official function got over. Diars la sema rush. Thala started to shake hands with media. Sandhadi saakula I too gave my hands twice! Then to another surprise five or six housekeeping staffs got queued up in the diars to take photograph with Thala leaving all their other works! Paavam they were eagerly waiting, but avanga manager vandu thorathi vittu velaya paaka sollitaan! (yemana therinjiruppan andha manager avangalukku!) Then Thala went to another hall to give interview to Jaya TV. The crew got dispersed. I had nice dinner there and came back home! Vairum nerajidu and so as my manasu! |

It is not a flaw/mistake/error and was purposefully done to give a different feel! And this sampling is not there in video it seems. I think Sei Edhavadhu Sei will be the Item Song involving Ajith and Rose. The song has sensuous feel to it.
As somebody put it, it is a club remix version. That means we will have to look out for the Original remix version in the movie from Dec 14th. Lets wait n watch.

Meanwhile Jasjit who has just been released from prison sets out in search for his son, Deepu, and to get his revenge on the DSP who arrested him and prevented him from rescuing his wife and child from black mailers, this in turn killed his wife and left his son missing. A song sequence in MalaysiaThe DSP trains Jeeva and admits him in a hospital (in which Billa is also admitted and supposedly in coma) to surgically give him all the scars and birthmarks the real Billa has on his body. However Billa dies of heart failure suddenly in front of the DSP and the doctors, who are unable to save him. While Jeeva is infiltrating Billa's gang, the DSP is captured and killed in a fire blast; and Jeeva is forced to run from the police as well as Billa's gang members -- pursuing the last piece of evidence which has all of Billa's criminal activities loaded on it, a disc which can get him out of this mess. Through various plot twists, Jeeva recovers the disc. Eventually, it surfaces that the DSP is alive and is actually Vardhan, a notorious underground criminal with a grudge against the Drug Lord, Billa's boss, and eventually ends up killing him. Jeeva arranges a meeting with Vardhan and assists in his capture. In a final twist, it emerges that the real Billa is still alive, and was pretending to be Jeeva who he killed and replaced while in the hospital. It was actually Jeeva who had died in the hospital of heart failure in front of Vardhan. In the end both Billa and his girlfriend Anita (Namitha) escape, bewildering the police and Roma. Billa is a solid break for director Vishnuvardhan. “We had already decided that Vishnu would helm it. He is so clear and focussed. It was a joy to work with such a highly motivated technician, because the zest is contagious,” laughs Ajith. “Cameraman Nirav Shah is another confident youngster, raring to go.” Two MSV songs from the original, ‘My name is Billa,’ and ‘Vethalaiya Pottaendi,’ have been retained. The cast includes veteran Prabhu, theatre person Yog Jappe and aspiring talent Aditya. And taking care of the glam quotient are Nayantara and Namita. “They are thorough professionals. Billa has an international flavour. And understanding the import, Vishnu’s wife Anu, the costume designer, has worked overtime. The heroines wear clothes that clearly underline the difference between aesthetics and vulgarity. The finesse is incredible,” he compliments.
