Among IPL teams, I think RCB has more chances to succeed due to their bowling line-up and quality in batting.
MI would be my second choice as Tiwary and Rayudu might struggle in SA conditions.
CSK were dependant on spinners. In SA pitches, konjam kashtamdhaan.

Is Zaheer Khan playing for MI in Champions League?. I really do not like this idea of him playing here (if he gets injured again )and doesn't play for the test series against Australia, SA and the World cup. There is so much at stake where I would like to see the Indian Team with full force rather than playing CL/IPL/Tonty tonties.
Tendulkar playing in CL-T20 is also quite irrelevant to me. Hope he doesn't get injured in this series. We have more important tours to follow.

I presume the pressure of non-qualification to semis is playing on in his mind. His opening partner is waste. Only Pollard and to some extent Tiwari and Rayudu saving the Middle order. Bowling (barring Malinga) and fielding is a big let down.

The retention rules are not yet very clear. I read something like this - If two or more teams are tied in the auction for a player, then the current team gets preference. IPL teams do not have that status yet. How can they? The IPL is only three seasons old and besides the number of dissidents who refuse to associate themselves with it, even real fans have no clue who will establish themselves as the perennial team to beat. That's not to say the IPL deserves all the scorn it's getting. In time, traditional rivalries will build, so too will traditional powerhouses. The Chennai Super Kings may have laid the first brick in that construction's name when they comprehensively walloped Wayamba in Centurion on Wednesday night.
They beat the team from Sri Lanka by 97 runs, a margin of victory that has not been achieved in the tournament before. Murali Vijay and Suresh Raina put on 137 for the second wicket, the highest in the Champions League's short history. That helped Chennai reach 200 for three, the highest score in this year's competition so far. R Ashwin captured four for 18, the best bowling figures of this year's tournament to date and the win makes Chennai the first IPL team to register two consecutive wins in the CLT20.
Everything about Chennai on the night screamed, "We are champions." Their aggressive intent with the bat, their killer instinct with the ball and their error-free demonstration in the field was all the stuff of conquerors. It was a chance missed by Chennai as they loosened their grip slightly. Nonetheless, they still bowled Wayamba out for 103 and previously Central Districts for 94 - the lowest scores this edition. as usual commentary team were supporting and sympathising with bangalore team........they said rain delay and steyn's injury as the main reasons but nobody talked why
A. kumble didnt have planB in case of injury to frontline bowlers
B. Du preez, seamer went for so many runs when csk seamers got it right
C. Raina's great innings in a big match.....even pandey hit 50 proving it was RCB batsmen mistakes to have got out and not the pitch.....
D. RCB fielded poorly
And all prominent news channels not even reporting the news.......

Great show by Warriors !! Were on top in the first 10 overs of their batting display but Redbacks made a great comeback... Despite restricting the Warriors they couldn't chase the target mainly because they lost wickets at regular intervals. And key players were gone all of a sudden in a matter of 3 overs...
