Hi
Can any one give me the poem by Kampan which
explains the Prahaladhan and Hiranyan incident?

If you have Bharathiyar Katturaigal book, it is
there.Bharatiyar quotes it somewhere in one of
his essays.I don't have the book.That is why I
am asking.

Prahaladan will say
"SAnilun uLan, sadha kUritta thUnilum uLan
...
yAn sonna sollilum uLan"

Good poem. May be it can be an "idai
serugal".But I liked the poem.

By the way: Compare how Bharathiyar talks of the
same incident in his poem.
"SolladA sol Hari yenra kadavul yengae ..."

"Narayanan thUnil uLLAnm, thurumbil uLLAn
..."

I feel Kamban's is more subtle and supreme as
against Bharathi's which is furious and words are
not that poetic.

I am not critising Bharathi's poems per se.
When compared to Kampan, Bharati's poem is not
that subtle.
