  ---Shakthi, i think that this might be a waste of money, but i think that these two things cannot be compared..
  
  These kinds of poojas r done in the temples, not to pacify the Gods...we all know that God (that is the FAITH/ CONSCIENCE within us) does not need such bargains...
  
  These poojas r done to instigate faith in people who r desperate or lost, who lack in confidence, and sometimes to calm down a turbulent mind...it is just like doing yoga and meditation...just to remind all of us that there is hope beyond despair
  
  all of us need such means to bring tranquility at one time or the other...
  
  So i think that these two things cannot be campared, in my opinion!
