Hi everybody,

Do any of you know any resource or books that talk about the history of telugu speeking people in tamilnadu in terms of their origin, area's etc.

  I think this should be discussed in the tnhistory forum. Tamilnadu's telugu population belong wth tamilnadu history and you will also have better participation there. Please post here :-)

  nearly 50% of people of tamilnadu are telugu and they speak telugu only in their homes.telugus are dominating the south india where ever u go u can find them

  i think after bollywood its tollywood(telugu cinema) is largest in india most of the top figures in chennai like a.m ratnam,ahankar,s.p balu and even m.s subbalakhmis mother tongue is telugu,vaiko is telugu more than 70% of tamils nadus chiefministers are telugus who are reddys and naidus .
  if want just go through the chief ministers of tamilnadu from 1st.
  telugu is second largest spoken in chennai and bangalore also.we tamils didnt produce any p.ms of india but a.p gave p.v narasimha rao as p.m of india
