How to make Bengali Film Songs popular?

In the fifties and sixties, Bengali film song records were in every Bengali house. But now-a-days, the situation is not like this. In fact, after the death of Kishore Kumar, very few Bengali film songs have become popular. But it is not completely true that now-a-days, there are no good Bengali songs. In fact, when one watches the new movies in various Bangla channels, one finds that still there are quite a lot of good songs. Then, what more is required? More Publicity? Bengalisation of songs? Stop using Bollywood singers? What do you think?

I think absence of good heroes also does not motivate people to come to cinemahalls to watch movies. That is why, the songs do not become popular. We do not see any new hero after Tapas, Prasenjit, Chiranjit and Abhishek.

Swagataalaxmi is a good MD. But the Bengali films could not use her properly. Isn't it?
