Tamil reigning queen Meera Jasmine is likely to play opposite Balakrishna in his forthcoming film. The film is remake of Tamil super hit, SAAMY, to be directed by Jayant and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh, who had produced CHENNAKRISHNA REDDY. This Run girl is now also acting in Manirathnam’s film. In Tamil version, Trisha had done the role.

The muhurat scene will be shot on June 25th, at 9:45 am at Annapurna studios, Hyderabad. Regular shooting would start from July 10th onwards. On the same day Balayya’s other film, produced by Konda Krishnam Raju, which was launched in May, would start its regular shooting. Though Jayant had directed big heroes including Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna earlier, it would be testing time for him as it is tough to direct Balayya considering his mass image.
