Curious about what kind of preparations goes into a concert. I am assuming that each artist starts with a plan about what the first set of pieces he / she is going to deliver. Above that, do they determine before hand, for which of those, they are going to do alapana, kalpana swaras etc... and if yes, what percentage of this is extempore. Would like to hear about different artist's attitude to this.

  Necessarily every musician is carrying the note book containing the lyrics of all kriitis. This is quite evident from the group singing of pancha ratna keerthani at aaradhana festivals.
