Hello all--

After a rather strange set of circumstances involving a raging fire and an insurance company, I have been given the opportunity to re-build my CD collection, free of cost. I am looking to begin an Indian Classical music collection. I wondered if everyone could be kind enough to list three or four of your "desert island picks" -- Indian Classical CDs (Carnatic or Hindustani) that you absolutely would not be able to go without if stranded on a desert island. My own preference tends toward North Indian, but I am open to any and all suggestions.

BTW, I'm looking to purchase these *on disc*, so if the music isn't available on CD or is out of print, etc., it won't do me too much good. If you know where to purchase these discs, on or off-line, I would appreciate that info as well. Thank you so much--
