Adi Sankara's "Subramanya Bhujangam" is set to a musical metre and yet I have not seen any tape or cassette rendering of it by any artiste. Wonder if anyone knows if there is even an amateur recording available for download?

Thanks. I purchased Vedavalli's cassette when I was in India couple of months ago. Each couplet is set to a different raga. It also includes two Dikshitar compositions - Subramanyena (Suddha Dhanyasi) and ShadAnane (Kamas).

I have a very very very old recording that was on spool tape. I have converted this into a WAV / MP3 file. I could send it out to you.
This has been the best in terms of the rendition though the quality leaves much to be desired. I have also in my possession 2 other renditions - by Mrs.Vedavalli and by Mrs.Anuradha Suresh Krishnmurthy.
do revert should you need the converted version.
