To those concerned,
I have just bought an Indian Banjo what notes the strings are tuned to. I think it is a very simple model. It has 2 sympathetic strings, 8 strings and 23 type writer -like keys. I am wanting to play a Western tune on it for a dance performance. Can anyone there help me? If you could email me back ASAP, I would really appreciate it. My return email address is:

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best wishes,
Jo Dudley.

I read you tune the strings to "C" but that can vary with voice, and the sympathetic or drones are either the same, or a fifth up
