The resources for mathematics in music are great especially by the European- German-American-Jewish intellectuals and scientists. Try sources in cognitive musicology. and books like The psychophysics and neuropsychology of music I forgot the author. If you are just a beginner then it is esential to try to begin with fundamentals and the mathematical basis of music tructure and also the generative grammar of music anbd the mathematic of brain perception.
A good site is http://forum.swarthmore.edu/library/topics/music/ (mathematics and music)
Try listening to composers like Beethoven (epecially moonlight sonata), Bach (The well tempered clavier) Mozart (epecially symphony no 41), Wagner (is probably the most demanding composer try understanding the orchestral prelude to Die meister von Nuremberg) , Schoenberg (especially his five orchetral piece) Alban Berg epecially sonatas and most of all definitely Anton Webern he is considered as the greatest mathematical composer in the world.
European - German music is very mathematical and for dance I think one should refer to the texts of bharata and its commentaries. I am myself in search of it. Can you help me understand some concepts of SSouth Indian dance like why it is essential for a perfectly posture. What is the significance of araimandi... etc.
