Sorry I was away for a couple of days.. what a grotesque and gruesome situation you want? Its an exception rather than a rule anyway since its possible even tho remote I will proceed to answer it.
In the previous post we were talking about love and reciprocation. You told to go on loving without expecting reciprocation. In fact no love will come out if anyone is a fool enough to follow that piece of advise. The context there was reciprocation and myself & roshan argued that without reciprocation there is no love or at least whatever that comes from that one way traffic cannot be called love. And ofcourse you never bothered to enlighten us about higher love, tru love, eternal feelings but keep on asserting.
Now u come up with a situation as gruesome and ghastly as u can conceive. what was ur argument.. that one can and should love without reciprocation.. but in you example you have talked about reciprocation ( which u loathe) and so what is the problem. In this case u can show only your concern and of course u have to sacrifice some things like physical pleasure.. but that concern is born out of love you have for your partner, how much she/he meant.
Since one loves another and is reciprocated the love becomes stronger and deeper and hence will definitely care even if disfigured.
Now can u answer me whether you can do the care and have the same concern for a person whom u loved but did NOT reciprocate that love. In the first place you would not have married at all .. so much for your passive and non reciprocating love.. it cannot even be consumated. So janaki you are arguing for me in a bundle of inconsistencies and contradictions.

Janaki, I'm not sure that you have read my previous posting which I gave as an answer to your gruesome scenario. There fore I would like to repeat it again.
Your sceanrio is an exceptional case and the prevoius postings of mine (also stg's) were all applicable to normal and common situations. What we have said is realistic and true. But your question is an exceptionaland unrealsitic one. Chances of that happening are very remote but still can happen.
In your scenario you have said the love was reciprocated and they lived happily. Now after that fatal accident it is the time for him to reciprocate (again in the form of love and concern)for all the happiness she has given him before. You have raised the question against the man, what will it be if he had met with that accident. How sure you are that she will take care of him through out her life. You may say that she will love her in the same way as she did before, because in one of your previous postings you have made a childish and foolish comment saying that women love without expecting reciprocation and men do not, and at the same time you say that Kurankatti's love is true love. Love is not only true it is also sincere, real, faithful and more than anything HUMANE.
Therefore my answer to your gruesome scenario is, physical pleasure is just a small part in love life. Any man or woman should be ready to willingly sacrifice that when situation demands. It all depends on being Humane. there is a saying - Being great is great but being Humane is greatest. Where there is LOVE there is HUMANE. No matter you are a man or a woman.
I would also like to repeat the same thing which is there in stg's postings- Since one loves another and is reciprocated the love becomes stronger and deeper and hence will definitely care even if disfigured. Well said stg.
I hope you will answer the question raised by stg. We are waiting to see your response.
