Meaning of the song:
Easy (sulabha) method of worshiping (pUjeya mADi) the
LORD for weak/poor people (balavilladavaru)
who are servants (pAda sEvakaru) of LORD NALINANABHA (naLinanAbhana)
It is sacred lamp (nIrAjanavu) which they light up (hachchuva dIpa) during the night (iruLu)
It is sacred cloth (parama maDiyu) which they wear (vastra) to cover-up (maremADuva)
Becoming tired (daNiyuvude) by wondering (tirugADi)
around is circumambulation (pradakShiNeyu) to HARI (harige)
Turning both sides (horaLi) while sleeping (malaguvude) is saluting (vaMdaneyu) HARI (harige)
Whatever good talks (nuDida mAtugaLella) during the day will be chanting (japavu) of
HARI (kaDala shayanana)
Wife (maDadi), Children (makkaLu) and retinue (oDane parivAra)
Central part of the house (naDumaneya) and courtyard (aMgaLavu) are the
UDUPI/VAIKUNTHA (uDupi vaikuMThagaLu)
Neighbouring (eDabalada) people (maneyavaru) are the unique/special guests (kaDu bhAgavataru)
People (janara) knowing (tiLidu) all the above and getting joy/happyness (higguva/sukhavu)
in this world (mUjagadi), their worries/troubles (bhava rOga) will be resolved (parihAravu).
Our (namma) life-span (I Ayoo) is declining (hOgutide) very fast (bEgadiMdali) by
remembering (nenenenedu) YOGISHA PURANDARAVITHALA (yOgIsha puraMdaraviThalana)
