i made this thread to b able to tell each other about tamil movies inspired by movies of other languages.

one film i can think of is Vijay's Badri........ A VERY GOOD MOVIE
this film is a mix of a Aamir Khan (hindi) and a Van Damm (english) movie.......

Kamal's Vasool Raj MBBS (A VERY GOOD MOVIE) was Munnabai MBBS.
Munnabai MBBS was taken from the Robin Williams movie Patch Adams......

if you can think of anything pls share it with the others

Well, as long as they are not IMPAIRED by other movies, it is ok!

agreed.......
the thing id there are soooooooo many good english movies,. whe cant they remake those movies....... the remake movies are most of the time the same thing just changes here and there.
i'd love to see A Beautiful Mind and Rain Man made in tamil

one remake that is realy good is Nayagan (one of the best tamil movies).... i cant realy call it a remake......... just the idea was taken from the GodFather (the best english movie ever)

i know about the thread..... but it's only about Kamal....... an i never call a movie COPIED..... it's never that..

If U are talking of Inspired then vijay's movies are ruled out.

Most of them are telugu remakes.

Why, tamil films, indian films in general copy from english films.
