for those who cannot read tamil : it is said that Rajini himself has asked sachin team and anniyan team not to release their movies on the same day ...

do you guys think, that can be true ????

I doubt he asked Anniyan
becuz that team has worked long and hard and spent lots of money on that film to try and lose anything.

If the movie doesnt make near to breaking even i doubt Oscar would want to finance another shankar movie.everyone knows those are very expensive to produce when it isnt shankars own money.

no, I was speaking about rajini ...

pure speculation : if tamilcinema.com's news is true (i doubt seriously it is !), what would have done rajini when speaking to Oscar ? something like "don't release your movie on the same day, and my next movie will be for you", no ?

Its not only Tamilcinema.com. I read this similar in Dinamalar-Varamalar. I feel sad about this news Rajini requested others. Per Dinamalar, Rajini has requested Kamal not release ME for Tamil New year's day. I feel Vijay may not budge for his 'Sachin'.

also in B centre like vellore, dindigul,theni,kancheepuram etc minimum 5 good theatres and minimum 3 dts theatres are there. But in cini south they mentioned that April end ME will be released. after 2 week CM will be removed form B center? Just 1 month more. in next 2 week the real news will come to limelight. Lets see.

And the media says that it is not as hot as Sachin or Chandramukhi.

But I feel Kamal still holds the no.2 place in popularity after Rajni.

ME is releasing on April 29th. 3 reasons is cited for the delay. Hindi version is releasing on April 29th. Telugu version is also releasing on April 29th. Also Kamal said that the theatres need to still make some changes to suit the digital format.... and so the delay in release.

I don't think that Rajini asked anything. Shankar is already not going to release the movie on the date, because Ameer has beated shankar. Raam is the exact storyline as Anniyan is what I hear. And Shankar is in a soup now.

Well,the ad's Kamal has inserted in the papers just say April-il&not 14th.Also it makes sense to release all the versions(Tamil,Hindi,Telugu)on the same day.So if Kamal has a problem releasing the Hindi/Telugu version on April 14th,then it's most likely he will postpone the release.Anniyan already stands deferred to May.So it might just be a clash between 'Super star'&'trying-to-copy-Superstar'.

whatever be the case. I think ME and CM should release together. I am waiting for the fight between Kamal & Rajini. If both r hits, it will be a treat to watch. I wish sachin to be released on May along with God father, Anniyan and others. Rajini asked Kamal only and now both of them are set to release their movies on Apr 14. I don't know whether he asked to Shankar. I think rajini might not have done like that.
