An excellent work from the team!!

guys, i strongly recommend... this is a must watch movie...

I dont watch movies much, but the review and the WOM took me to the theater. Brilliant job done by the girl (dunno her actual name ) and Bharath.... unlike other stories were "a girl and and a boy elopes.... get a nice hut or house in the outskirts...and then they lived long happily ever after" theme... this would give an alarm to all such ready-to-run-away kids.

not only the hero and heroine, all else in the movie has done their part perfectly. from the chinnappayyan (with his madurai accent and smartness) to the girl's othakkai chitthappa... and so many small characters like an ollikkuchi with pillar teeth in front who says "nadicha hero than saar..." and the groom in the bus ....etc etc...

yes!!

so many characters done well....overall the screenplay and dialogues were gud.
But ppl often hype abt the climax, It was a normal climax, i wud say.
Cos it was practical ending.
The guy Bharath has done a excellent job. The gal has done too.
Yes it a movie to watch, but not by loving couples.

am i right???

Why?.. the loving ones should see this..!!! and be alert that this can also happen!!! and plan things accordingly...

its great reflecting tamil culture.. especially Madurai....

this time vikatan gives 50 marks after Autograph. Ghilli was 45.

Kadhal is a must-see movie..Bharath was excellent it was utterly honest and brutal...i like how you honestly got to see how hard it was the couple to get married...even the secondary characters such as the fellow mechanic boy in the motorcycle shop and Bharath's friend Steve...I really liked his role...he at times reminded me of Vadivelu's sentimental parts in movies...

FYI, Dont read this further if you want the climax to be a suspense :)

I watched this movie yesterday and to be frank the movie was pretty normal for the first 2 hours or so.. The eloping and school scenes were not any different than the other movies.. The last 15 minutes of the movie was what made it a lot different from other movies. The usual theme of 'they lived happily ever after' or 'the hero beating up 25 ppl' or 'the villain turning good in a minute' or 'the truth being exposed by someone in the climax' didnt happen. It was more of a realistic ending to some extent but why do they make the hero a mental case always? I mean Sigappu rojakkal , sethu and many more movies like this have a similar ending.. Cant they think of anything else other than that?
Is that just to create sympathy among the audience? Overall the movie was much better than the recent movies I've seen...

hey im a maduraite , i just came to know that the mechanic's family( in real life) are now well settled and owner for 2-3 theaters . but i dunno how far it is true. my cousin has seen that mad guy roaming in the streets but not the rest story .

I think think movie may change the trend for tamil cinema.
no dream song in foreign roads.

the way bharath sits in his bike typical mechanic style.

The song "Thandatee karupayee..."

Sandhya performed well in the climax scene. it was excellent

she can win if she concentrates on her role,story in future.

actually dhanush was supposed to act in this film.

but bharath has done well.

the scene the car enters into"aishwarya pannai" and the successive scenes was in high speed na

Really?..but in this movie he just had a mother in his family and she, for sure is not a kind interested to own theaters....

and at the end the director says this guy is under treatment... i was waiting for any magazines to come up with the real fotos and stories at least as a scoop neuz.

Kaadhal was not just a movie, it's a cult classic. This movie should break the monotony that is Tamil cinema today and usher in more talented directors who don't reduce the art of cinema to rubbish.

Its really a classic,lovable film.Yadhaartham nirainadhadhu.
Flms like Kaadhal,Azhagiya theeyae are the most welcome in the present industry situation.
Without any star values the directors were able to give gud n gr8 films.
Looking for more such films..
Let this trend continue.
