What is controversial in the movie Gemini Marries Sowkar in his early days. Due to some reason he thought that sowkar was dead and marries Jayanthi. After several years he meets sowkar as his higher official. Without knowing all these Jayanthi suspects gemini.
I hope i am saying it right. Saw it long back

Due to everyone's good Sowkar departs from them later

Idhaya malar was not directed by gemini. He did not dierct any films. The film had kamal in the hero's role.

In naan avan illai, kamal appears in a samll role as the brother of one of the heroines.

Dear Bingleguy,

Idhya Malar was directed by GG. He did the direction but halfway through, the producer Manian (Idhyam Pesugirathu) brought Thamarai Manalan in to the picture and title cards appeared in both GG and TM's names as Directors. Based on a story written by Manian himself, this movie was released in 1976 (Sep, I think) but it failed to create any ripples. Kamal and Sujatha were paired and the film is still remembered only for the song " Sendu Malli Poo Pol Azahkiya Pandhu " (KJY, VJ).
