I voted for 'Ilavattam' - the interludes are mind blowing. Especially the second one which is a symphony on its own.
MDM was one of the first cassettes we bought after our buying our first walkman. I still remember the goosebumps that the stereo effect on the headphones gave me.
For example, the 'digudi dakku' chorus from 'paakku veththala' seemed to go from one ear to another and back.
