Yorker - 07

How to Play?

All you have to do is predict the winners of each and every match.

Points System


If your prediction is correct

You will get : 10 Points

If your prediction is wrong

You will loose : 5 points

If your prediction is a tie\no result

You will get : 30 Points

Note: After nominating yourself and if you didn give any predictions before the match starts, you will loose 1 point, if you do not predict for 3 matches you will loose -5 points for the fourth day, -10 for the fifth and so on...


Flow of the game

As the number of teams participation shrinks at every stage, the number of contestants will also gets reduce!

That is,

Stage:02

Top 20 scored contestants will be qualified for the first stage - Super 8

Note : Once the game reaches Super-8, the top 8 contestants, qualified for the next level should predict the Teams, which might reach the Semi-Finals, for the bonus points.

Stage:03

Top 15 scored from 20 contestants will be qualified for the second stage - Semi Finals

Stage:04

Top 10 scored from 15 contestants will be qualified for the final stage - Finals

Tie-Breaker

In case if there are more contestants with the same points this will be the solution for them to move to the next round :-

Since this game will be open a day before, the early and clean predictions will be noted, counted, used, as the bonus points so that the contestants who have more clean and early predictions will get advantage to the next round.

This bonus point will be added to the grand total only if needed


Example:

First Match : WestIndies Vs Pakistan.

1.All predictions will be collected 30 minutes before the match starts.

Nerd predicts : Pakistan

Kb predicts : West Indies

Af Predicts : West Indies

Nakeeran predicts : Tie\No Result

Raghu predicts : Pakistan


2.We will wait for the match results, say if Pakistan wins the match.

Nerd,Raghu will get 10 Points, Af,kb and Nakeeran will loose 5 points....!

Point System for Level:02

Right Prediction : 25 Points

Wrong Prediction : -10 Points

Tie, No Result : 40 Points

*Top 20 should also give their choices of semi-final teams right after the leagues and before the Super-8 starts

*If you skip predicting then you will get -5 points, If you continuesly skipping this game you will get -10, -15 ... for each match!



Points system for Level:03,04 will be given before the tournament reaches that stage

Tips:

Analyse each teams strength plus,minus carefully,Follow the pitch reports,look who won the toss,
Tie\No Result might also happen, Follow the weather report carefully !
