i need help about how to make vellayappam...I make good paalappams but i have no idea how to make vellayappam/kallappam..

Can u give me a recipie for making cake (a very simple one)?
Can i make it without using a cake mixer as i dont have one.
Is there some recipie for making cake in microwave?

I like vellayappam very much.Infact I try to eat as much as I can, almost every day.I preferr to eat appam washed twice a day.It would be really nice if u spray some perfume...before I eat.
I prefer fresh appams..
