WHAT IS TOXIN AND ANTIOXIDANT?HOW TO GET RID OF TOXIN IN OUR BODY?WHERE CAN WE FIND ANTIOXIDANT?

  Toxins in simple terms are poisons which are produced (Toxic compounds) by body if you are talking in this sense.
  Anti-Oxidants are free radicals of Oxygen produced by body which result in de-generation of body cells and result in slow destruction o body resulting in agening.

  I think Hemant is a little confused. Toxins are just toxic (poisonous) substances, when applied to health they are usually accepted as the by-products of normal metabolism, how your body deals with food, naturally and normally. Toxins are usually expelled from the body in urine, they may have been metabolised in the liver. Please don't wory about toxins, it is a fad at the moment, the only thing you have to considr is a healthy intake of plain water, about 2 litres a day should do it. Antioxidants are chemicals which reduce the rate of oxidation in food and body tissue. They are very beneficial to life, and one should aim to consume the recommended daily allowance of vitamins, especially vit C and E. Free radicals are something very different, but are kept under control by antioxidants.

  It is just that this is explained with our body in mind.
  We have Toxins all around us but I was refering to ones produced by the body .
  
  Yes, its a typo when I wrote Anti-Oxidents are free radicals....etc. Where as it shud not have had word Anti.
  And anti-oxidents are chemicals whichkeep in check free radicals.

  I'm a homemaker from Singapore and i was happy that there is a site,where we can ask questions about cooking and more from indians all parts of the world.But was upset when i see like this.
