long white radishes with herbs and spices recipe please

I spent some time in India as a kid. Street stalls would sell long white radishes sliced down the centre with a combination of herbs and spices sprinkled through the sliced centre.
I loved these things but can not seem to imitate
this flavour, I've scoured the net for a reference to these but cannot find any.
Does anybody know what these spices are.

Hello Damodara,
Selling Radish with spices is common in Northern India along with fresh Cucumber and fresh coconut slices also.
The spice powder in North for both Radish and cucumber consits of ,
(INGREDIENTS) for I cucumber/radish
Red pepper powder (Highly Aromatic Indian peppers)
(1/8th spoon )
Rock salt/Black salt 1/4 spoon
A dash of Asafoetida (Optional)
Roasted Cumming powder (Just a dash).
The result is sheer magic.
