How to cook Udipi food????

Please some one enlighten me how to cook like UDIPI (Karnataka) food , I especially like the vangibath and Bisibelabath

'Merra dhose Dilkushi' here is the recepi
Ingredients:
Rice 1 cup
Small EggPlants 6
Bengalgram 1 1/2 tsp
Blackgram 1 1/2 tsp
Red Peppers 6
Corriander seeds 2 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida 1 pinch
Mustard 1 tsp
Salt To taste
Oil 4 tbsp
Cook Rice and keep aside to cool. Wash and cut the eggplant (small round eggplants are used for vangibath). into 4 pieces in lengthwise.
Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan and add mustard when mustard crackles, add the eggplants.
Fry them well and cover with a lid stir them occassionally till they are cooked well.
Fry red peppers,corriander seeds,bengalgram, blackgram and asafoetida seperately.
Grind them to a coarse powder in a blender.
Add the above powder to the cooked eggplant and mix well.
Add the cooked eggplant to the cooled rice and mix well.

Vijay I found a pearl of a cooking Site go see it ,it is called http://www.ammas.com/ But sadly they dont categorise Udipi cooking, i think Udipi cooking is a speciality it is differnt from dravidian cooking, it is milder and more flavoured and tastier of all. try ammas.

Go to southnexus.com Alot of manglorean recipes.....you might find your udupi cooking there.
