What is the difference between baking powder, baking soda, soda bicarb and eno fruit salt ? Is it different names for one thing ? When in a receipie it mentioned to use baking powder can I replace it with baking soda or eno fruit salt ?

  Sodium bicarbonate and baking soda are the same. I don't know about substituting the other ingredients but I'm sure they are not the same. I would not advice you to substitute one with another. As far as I know, recipes call for baking soda if the recipe has a sour ingredient with which they want the soda to react and start fermentation.
