sabudhana vadai (hemantji)

In some other thread i had asked the recipie for sabudana vada...Can you please help..Anyone who knows the recipie pls post it.

Hello Gayathri,
SABUDANA VADA
Method 1: by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor
Soak 1 cup sabudana for 3 hours. Boil & peel 2 medium potatoes. Add this to sabudana & mash very well. Add 3- 4 finely sliced green chillies, salt & 1Tbsp. chopped coriander leaves to the mixture. Make vadas, deep fry in hot oil & serve with ketchup.
Method 2: by Mrs.Mallika Badrinath
Wash 1 cup sabudana & drain water completely. Whip well 1 cup of thick sour curds & add to sabudana alongwith required salt. Mix well & set aside for at least 6 hours. Just before frying add about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of rice flour, 1Tbsp. soaked bengal gram dal, 1/4 cup finely chopped onions, 2tsp. minced green chillies & some chopped cashewnuts. Mix well, shape into vadas & deep fry in hot oil. Drain the fried vadas in a strainer (or paper towel) to remove excess oil & serve with pickles. ** NOTE -- Never add water in place of curds as that would cause the vadas to splutter while being fried. While frying, do not turn over the vadas with a ladle until they start becoming light brown underneath.
