This one is neither potato masala nor chana masala. The recipe is
Mixed Frozen Vegetables - 1 pack (16 oz)
potato - 2 big
onion - 1 big
tomato puree - 4 tbl sp
channa soaked overnight - 1 cup
ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
garam masala - 1 tsp
chilli powder - 1 tsp
dhania pdr - 1 tsp
jeera pdr - 1 tsp
oil for frying
salt to taste
Pressure cook channa along with the frozen veggies. pressure Cook potato also separately. chop onions and fry them with oil till brown along with the ginger garlic paste. Add tomato puree and fry for somemore time. Mash potatos and add to the onion tomato masala. Now add cooked veggies with channa along with the stock. Don't drain the stock. Add salt, dhania pdr, jeera pdr, chilli pdr and garam masala. Cook for 10 minutes.Dont make it very thick. It can be slightly watery as it will thicken since it has potato in it. It tastes very good with puris and chapathis.
