Clay cookware

Hello,
Would any of you know if any clay pots for stove top cooking are available in the market(I live in the US) ? If yes, I would want to have more information about the same. The farthest I could learn about any clay cookware is the romertopf's clay baking vessels. I heard about those Micaceous clay vessels. But accessibility to buy such seems not quite feasible.

chinese stoores have clay pots which are designed for stove top use.. use low heat though

I have a clay dish looks like a pye plate, it has desings in the bottom, i was told it is to make cookies. Do not know how to use it. Do you have any sugestions on how to use it? Do you oil it first?..
