Tofu as in restaurants!!!!!!!!!!!111

Hai, I have been to thai restua. I have tasted the tofu they. They are hard and nice to eat like they are chewy and well cooked. But the one I make at home are not so. I buy the extra firm ones. In fact I have used all of them. I have tried frying it marinationg it. Pls help me.

Hi Rajani, next time either put the tofu pieces in the oven or fry over a very low flame for about an hour, turning every 15 minutes, it will get hard and dry. Marinating just gets the tofu wet inside, so use a sauce afterwards.

Put a heavy plate over the tofu to drain out water for an hour or so before you use it this will get rid of the escess water and remember tofu is like a sponge so if you want to marinate it, drain it well first, then marinate it.
