is keerai masiyal and keerai kootu same? how to cook these items? any other items with keerai (red)except keerai poriyal?

Hi Seema,
presume by keerai kootu, you mean kerai mulakoottal.
keerai masial is made of 'chowli keerai'. (green). just boil the leaves and grind to a smooth paste with salt. poricchu-kottal with mustard and a little raw rice.
keerai koottu is made of 'palak'. boil the leaves with salt. grind to a fine paste coconut, 3-2 red chillies and jeera and finally add the boiled keerai and grind for 2 seconds. the keerai sould not be mashed totally, it spoils the taste.
season with mustard and your keerai kootu is ready.
