Brown or Boiled or Parboiled Rice ?

which rice is the healthiest ? (white rice is not
healthy)
What is the difference between these three ?
Can someone share their experience.

Hi Vijay
i can tell you that the brown rice is generally healthy . the white rice is not good specailly for the diabetics . if you are fond of rice and cannot live without it then you should taste the brown rice . it does not fill you up and youwill not feel gassy after eating it unlike white rice.
the only problem is brown rice takes longer to cook . in the rice cooker you will have to soak for aat least 2 hours and the ratio should be 1: 3 1/2 cups of water.
this rice is fibrous and healthy. i have doctor in the family and it was his suggestion . i made the switch and i am glad i did it. after eating with brown rice you will find the whilte rice totaly tasteless.

try the basmati brown rice .t he regualr brown rice has no flavor . atleast i have so far not tried the regular brown rice.
