Simple and Good, chettinad veggie curry

Ingredients

Brinjal
Bell pepper
Onions
(Cut above to small fine pieces)

Potatoes
Beans
peas
( Pressure Cook Potatoes,peas and Green beans (cut)
Once cooked tender, cut potatoes and keep them ready)

Curry leaves
Salt to taste
jeera (1/2 spoon)
Bay leaves
Cloves 2 pieces

Grind to paste

5 red chillies (add more for more hot prep)
Ginger 1/2 inch piece
Fresh Garlic - 6 pieces
Onion 1 medium
Poppy Seeds (3/4 spoon - adding more will make it taste raw)
Jeera (1 spoon)
Salt (little)
Turmeric (1/4 spoon)
1/5th glass of water for paste
All above cut finely and grind to paste.

Step 1 :

1. heat oil on Deep frying pan .
2. Add cloves and Bay leaves and
3. Add onions, brinjal, bell pepper and fry till golden
brown then add salt for taste.
4. Add ground paste and let it simmer for sometime
5. Add pressure cooked veggies and cook in medium flame for
atleast 10 minutes or till gravey is thick.
6. Add curry leaves and sprinke coriander and serve Hot !

Goes good with mild main course foods like (Dosa / Idli & Rotis)
