Chettinad Chicken

Need original chettinad chicken receipe. Could someone help me out?

Chicken Chettinad

Serves number of people: 04

Ingredients

Chicken 800 gms
Onions 2 medium
Tomatoes 6 large
Ginger 3"
Garlic 15 cloves
Coriander leaves 2 tbsps.
Chana dal 4 tsps.
Whole red chillies 6
Coriander seeds 1 tsp.
Cumin seeds 1 tsp.
Coconut (scraped) 5 tbsps
Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tsps.
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste

Method of Preparation

Clean the chicken, remove skin and cut into 8 pieces.
Chop the onions and tomatoes separately.
Chop the ginger and garlic. Chop the coriander leaves.
Roast the ginger, garlic, chana dal, whole red chillies, coconut, coriander seeds, cumin seeds in oil and grind together into a paste.
Heat oil in a kadai and fry the onions till golden. Add the ground paste and saute for some time. Add the tomatoes, red chilli powder and haldi powder.
Add chicken and mix. Add water, cover and cook till the chicken is done.
Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves and accompanied with boiled rice.
