Is Gelatin Used in Pudding which are available in U.s.(in restuarants etc..) I am a vegeterian so would like to know if eating pudding is ok. Bcos in a t.v.show gelatin was added to pudding.
Thanks

I have made pudding without gelatin.. but I don't know if the restaurant version carries gelatin or not.. Don't know if you eat eggs... Eggs are the main ingredient for pudding made in the US though.

i think all "commercial" pudding mixes contain gelatin. you can also make pudding at home with just milk, cornstarch and some sugar and cocoa. so, if milk is ok, you could have this.
