Grinding Parboiled rice

Many recipes for idli call for soaking and grinding parboiled rice. However I noticed that if I soak and grind parboiled rice it becomes quite gummy and sticky and downright disgusting. Are there any tricks to using parboiled rice in idli recipes? Please help. Thanks.
