Hi latha,
Short and precise, it is good, believe it is villakaai, rather than villakkai. Also does the lamp refer to anything, or is it just lamp where you bring out that the attributes are defined by the person and not the lamp itself.

thanksdhana
yes it is vilakkaaai -only then it willbringsome meaningnot vilakai
and you should not take literal meaningfor lamp
here lamp refers to a young girl - now you should be able to get correct meaning of it

Hi Latha,
Thanks for the explanation.
But seeing the lamp as young girl, the whole theme seems to be confusing for me.
Why it should be a girl, wouldn't it apply to anyone in that case?.

well its more appropriate for a young girl where we can equate vittil poochi to a young boy
- anyway i had this in my mind when i wrotethis..
