Madam PP,
Nalla karuthu!
Nam mahabharathathil 4 maargangal ulladhai shri krishnar vilakkugiraar
1. Bhakthi yoga
2. Gnana yoga
3. Karma yoga
4. Hata yoga ( i am not sure of this)
At any point of time, a person dwelling in any such yoga, will find a point of similarity somewhere some day.
Karma yoga, is doing duty, with love and affection BUT WITH DETACHMENT.
Detachment here means absence of 'egoisim'. Any job done that way, will lead to the good of humanity.

I discuss this a lot with my husband,
his type is
NAAM UYVADU
i talk more on
Naan uyyum vazhi.
I guess anyday he is a better person than me.
But here, i have a doubt. IF anyone is willing to discuss this,
1.Is it selfishness to think of Mukthi?
2.Is mukthi being detached and getting involved in the quest of 'WHO AM I?" IF yes is it wrong to have such nature?
3.Is mukthi in 'Jana Seva?"
Anyone interested in talking

Choosing either of the routes for "mukthi" depends entirely on one's personal inclination & circumstances. As far as I gather the quest for "Who am I?" negates all mundane duties done with or detachment. "IllaRaththil thuRavaRam" is no way for it. After entering into wedlock thinking of leaving the bond on a quest for self shall be unthinkable for many.Unpardonable. There are quite a lot of people who cannot forgive Budha-turned Sidartha. Service to mankind has been widely acknowledged as equivalent to prayer of the most sincere kind.We also say charity begins at home. Looking after one's family alone, fulfilling one's duties for the family only can very well amount to a holy life promising mukthi. We need not go out of our way to do charity. Chances to be charitable keep coming our way everyday even in our interactions with friends & neighbours. If mukthi can be understood as merging of the jeevathma with paramaathma a person in the midst of family ties can very well aspire for it, hope to attain it doing the daily chores sincerely as surely as a sanyasi who is an enigma to me.
